Do you play as Zelda too, in this?

No, you play as Epona from The Legend of Link.

I hope there's more to this game then standing on cliffs looking around and flying/riding...if there are no enemies apart from the occasional bear here and there, what's the point in having a sword/bow. Maybe show some fighting gameplay ;-) next time.

Gods & Monsters is basically "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey for kids". The trailers and specially the leaked gameplay videos all showed many of the assets and sounds were ported straight from Odyssey.

It's also no surprise, given that Ubisoft loves reusing assets and it's from the same studio that made Odyssey. As well as the fact that it was developed in 2 years or so, since Odyssey was released in 2018.

If you liked Odyssey, this shouldn't be too different. It has The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild elements as well, so it's a mix of both Odyssey and BotW. There are enemies, from the press previews from months ago, but from the map and objectives shown, it really screams Assassin's Creed: Odyssey - for better and for worse.

There's something about how the world is designed that puts me off but I'll give this a try. I loved both BotW and AC Odyssey so chances are I'm going to like this as well.

If you're in a country where Stadia launched, you can try the demo for free. This way you don't have to buy it to try it. Just be aware that the demo will only be available till 12/21/20 at 9 AM PT. The demo also has exclusive content that is not available in the full game. I will leave two links below to both the free demo and the countries in which Stadia is available. Saddly, it isn't available in my country, but hopefully it is in yours.

Thanks for the tip but Stadia isn't available over here either. I'll just take the risk, I think there's a good chance I'll like it. Overall feedback has been rather positive, too.
