Tamarin was released last week hoping to seduce all those who loved the N64 titles Rare developed back in the days. We can't say we have enjoyed by the game very much though, mainly because it lacks the required precision in the platforming sequences, but also because it fails to propose convincing shooting mechanics. The problem is that it never feels like we're in total control of the aiming for some reason, but there's no real autolock either, so in the end it simply doesn't feel right. Cuteness simply isn't enough to make us fall for this little guy. Here's a long enough video for you to see what we mean.
@catfish: the thing is Ps5 i'll bet couldn't handle 60fps@native4K as easly as seriesx. Thats the ironic shit, capable hardware throend between AA skills limited teams of 1st party devs mostly. meh. (3 Hours ago)
The Ascent is the only game that looks a bit next gen to me on XSX, although this is likely PC footage. (5 Hours ago)
[url] its quite something how detailed the 4K output is. (16 Hours ago)
Almost could pass like any other PS5 exclusive, even the "next-gen" effects that are starting to define the early output of nre engines (that smoke, debries, ligting/bloom) its very similar to Demon's (16 Hours ago)
whoa [url] this game looks really good almost a mismatch on the Series "cross-gen machine" X fuled with shit like Dirt and AssCreed. (16 Hours ago)
